Our private studio is situated at Level 1, 80 Brisbane Street, lutruwitta, Launceston.  You can find our entrance right next to the entrance of The Centreway Arcade, and opposite Local Hideout Cafe.

Emporia Tattoo and Laser Removal is a private studio space and each appointment will need to be pre-booked.

Yes, we require a deposit to secure your appointment time. Deposits for your laser appointment will be paid when booking your appointment.

A $50 deposit is needed to lock in your laser appointment, and will be deducted from your nominated card details when booking.

Deposits are non-refundable, and may be transferred to one new appointment time only if a client needs to reschedule (with at least 48 hours notice). Not transferable between clients.

Deposits will come off the total cost of your session, and remaining amounts are to be paid at the end of the appointment - cash payments are preferred, and Tap to Pay EFTPOS or bank transfer is also available. AfterPay is currently not offered at Emporia Tattoo and Laser Removal.

Reschedules with less than 48 hours notice, no-showing an appointments or cancelations will result in the loss of deposit.

As we are situated on an upper level, we do have a small stairwell and are unfortunately not accessible via wheelchair.

Several accessible parking spaces are located a short distance from the studio (Brisbane Street on the “Avenue” and through The Centreway Arcade/Patterson Street West multistory car park).

Please feel free to get in touch with your artist/removalist for assistance that may be required during your visit.

Vouchers for laser removal are available for purchase in person at Emporia Tattoo and Laser Removal.

Vouchers are currently unavailable for tattooing services.

For opening hours, please contact us at laser@emporiatattoo.com.au - as we are a private studio and by appointment only, our in studio hours differ each week. The studio will be closed on Sundays, Mondays and Thursdays.

Absolutely you can! However, we recommend that a client will test spot the numbing cream prior to the appointment day to check for allergens.

How to apply numbing cream:

• Topical numbing creams will need to be applied 2 hours before an appointment start time.
• Apply liberally before wrapping the area with a cling film. Please ensure you arrive to your appointment with the area still wrapped up - your technician will removal and clean the skin before beginning.
• A test spot is recommended prior to your appointment.
• Some brands will vary in strength and ingredients. Healed results may be effected if irritation or reactions/allergens may be present.

Let us hold your hand when we tell you this: it does.

We can tell you that it feels like a rubber band being snapped against your skin, and that you’re brave enough t get through it.

Numbing cream can assist with taking the edge off, as well as icing the area and elevating the body part post-session. Please advise if you have used numbing agents before we start zapping.

The Zimmer Cryo 6 is a cooling machine used during your treatment session to reduce the sensation of the lasering your unwanted tattoo.

We recommend at least 4 months between your last laser session and your new cover up design.

You’re welcome to bring your favourite person with you to your appointment - we do ask that you only bring one support person with you. We also ask that children are not brought to your appointment.

We politely ask that children do not attend your appointment for safety reasons.

While cash payments are preferred, we do also offer Tap and Pay EFTPOS and bank transfer options.

Please note, EFTPOS services will incur a surcharge, and AfterPay is not currently accepted.
